Ubuyu Set to Open in Late 2025

We are thrilled to finally share some exciting news!

After two years of design and construction supervision, we are proud to announce the upcoming opening of Ubuyu, a Banyan Tree Escape in Ruaha, the new luxury resort in Tanzania, entirely designed by FABRIC Integrated Architecture.

The owners provided a truly inspiring brief, envisioning a resort in a remote and pristine location within the African savannah.

FABRIC embraced this vision and brought it to life, designing the resort in a way that mimics the shapes of the Ruaha River, harmonizing with the landscape and reflecting the aerial views of the land, while respecting the rich Maasai culture.

The resort will be operated by BanyanTree Group , one of the world’s leading operators for luxury retreats in remote locations, ensuring an unparalleled guest experience.
